Mt. Kailash Yatra

kailash

7-21 Aug with Karta & ANS

Every year, pilgrims of various traditions and religions leave for a Yatra to Mount Kailash, following a tradition going back thousands of years. Registration deadline 7 July!

The icy peak of Kailash and the adjacent Lake Mansarovar symbolise the tantric pair of Shiva and Shakti. It is tradition to take a bath in Lake Mansarovar (the highest body of freshwater in the world) and circumambulate the Kailash peak. It rises 6638m up into the heavens located in a remote area of the Tibetan Himalayas. Never did any human being dare to climb the awe-inspiring peak of this most holy mountain. We will meet in Kathmandu from where we will be guided by an experienced team of professional tour operators. The two-week journey allows careful acclimatisation to the altitudes. During the days of the kora, we will have yaks or porters at our service.

“There is no place more powerful for practice, more blessed, or more marvellous than this. May all pilgrims and practitioners be welcome!“ - Milarepa

Investment: €1350. For registration, please follow instructions in flyer .
