About Siri Ram Kaur

I was born in Brussels in 1952. I have studied psychology and pedagogy. Later on, as I felt these techniques were too mental and incomplete, I went towards psycho-physical trainings: development therapy and psycho-motricity therapy. Feeling something was still missing, I went searching for a spiritual path. I went in different spiritual groups (Rajneesh, soufis…) and I completed a Hatha Yoga training.

In 1990, I discovered Kundalini Yoga, in which I found a more complete, true, and traditional transmission. So, I went to every yoga festival, I followed with convinced enthusiasm the Teacher Training Level 1 and 2 with Karta Singh who was very much inspiring to me, later on I was trained in mentoring the Teacher Training with Karta Singh. In 2001, I founded the Sounyai Centre together with my husband Claude, where regular classes, teacher trainings, and other teachings are given.
