Everything is Lost that is not Given
We are entering the Age of Aquarius. It will be a new time. The entire psyche is changing. You must purify the mind, body and soul to be real, innocent and sattvic. This age you will serve is an age of awareness, an age of experience.
- Yogi Bhajan
The Kundalini Yoga School Amrit Nam Sarovar (ANS), has its foundation in the teachings of Yoga Bhajan. These practices are based on a societal vision
and aspiration to uplift and serve mankind. They offer a personal and social path of awakening and righteous living that is accessible to everyone.
As an organization Amrit Nam Sarovar is committed to promoting, exploring and applying these teachings in a way that keep them alive - as an expression of the spiritual journey for our time. It is our hope to help pave the way towards a happy, healthy and prosperous future for all human beings. Our work is based on Kundalini yoga and meditation, community building and social service.
The school offers various paths of instruction into the profound teachings of the lineage. Amrit Nam Sarovar:
- runs teacher training programs throughout Europe and Russia
- supports the continued spiritual and professional growth of teachers through the ANS Trainer Academy (Shakti pillar)
- helps build local communities that put the teachings into daily practice through the study group network (Bhakti pillar)
Within ANS Shakti and Bhakti constitute two distinct currents of living the teachings. The intention is to create a dynamic dance between these two principles that will make ANS a vibrant place of learning and sharing.
ANS is a school of inclusion where everyone is welcome. The guiding principle is to match tasks and talents: To create unity instead of uniformity, oneness but not sameness. Everyone can excel according to their special gift.
The headquarters and heart of the school at Domaine Le Martinet are situated in the French alps south of Grenoble. The local self-sustaining community built around the school’s director Karta Singh, runs an organic farm and applies the yogic way of life and the Aquarian teachings to everyday life.
ANS is a member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Association (IKYTA). The school has been instrumental in developing teaching curricula for IKYTA teacher training programs worldwide.
