Level 1

This training is open for everybody. It is an adventure in consciousness for personal development.

This level 1 Teacher Training course imparts everything needed for practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga. The first part of the training comprises of five weekends, 160 hours, and allows for a personal orientation.

The second part is taught as an international intensive week in the school’s centre at Domaine Le Martinet in France. It imparts a true and profound experience of the techniques and of the specific pedagogy necessary for further transmission.

Passing the final exam, you get a diploma as Instructor for Kundalini Yoga, certified by the Kundalini Research Institute(KRI), Espanola, New Mexico, USA.

You can start Teacher Training Level 1 in all places given in the table below. ANS also offers an international Level 1 ANS Outreach Training,a three week residential for students from all over the world.

The Teacher Training Level 1 covers the following topics:

• The Dynamics of Kundalini Yoga
• History & Philosophy of Yoga
• Oriental Physiology
• Introduction to the mind & meditation
• Karma & Health
• Yogic lifestyle (Humanology)
• Kriyas & Asanas
• The spiritual path

Next to the local training all students  will come together for an intensive, international summer week at Domaine Le Martinet in the French Alps. The focus of that week is on giving a practical experience of the yoga.

 The Level I tuition course fee is EUR 1.750 (₤ 1.200). A discount is offered if you either register in advance and/or pay teaching fees in full.

In addition you will need to budget for the following:

• Food, Accomodation, Logistics for the weekends. Costs vary from centre to centre.
• EUR 315 for the residential week in France, which covers accomodation and food but not travel costs
• Travel costs for the weekends/weeks

• White Tantra Course
• You will need to purchase the Aquarian Teacher Manual. This currently costs EUR 108. It comprises of two books, a comprehensive theory book and a separate spiral bound book with many kriyas and meditations.
