True Man
The Father
Our father goes to work. He is humiliated by other men. Faces a corporate competition he can never win. He feels guilty. His inner worth is under constant assault. He is convinced he is an inadequate human being. Women have been telling him so for years. He doesn’t know how to talk. Doesn’t know what his feelings are. He gets home and teaches us nothing. We only get his bad temper. Why should we get anything else? He has nothing left. And we have conspired with our mother to push him out since we were two.
The Son
We should have been made into men! But we have remained boys in mens’ bodies. The older men who could initiate us, they have fallen away. The task has fallen on our father. But he would not do it. He wasn’t there. He didn’t say much. And there was too much tension between us anyway. And so it stands. We have much to learn, as sons and men. Much to repair and heal. So that one day, when we have become the old ones, we may pass on to our children what has been denied to us for so long.
The Spirit
The work is about initiation. Going deep into the losses we have suffered as men. A grief that is a window to our soul. A door into to the vast and depthless gorge of masculine feeling. This workshop will set you on the path.
Here you can learn to be authentic, connected to your own spirit and wildness. Connected to your own inner king. To dismantle the false personality that has kept you alive for so many years. To repair the hole in your psyche that is filled with demons. And to finally learn the things from other men that you have never learned and that no one else can teach you.
It is a mission that you must undertake alone, but in the company of men. A mission for your souls’ salvation. A mission that will change your life and will radically alter your relationships. It is also a mission that, once begun, you must carry through to the end.
